A woman who once claimed she was the heir to the Samsung electronics fortune will not be released from prison early.

Lisette Lee was convicted of flying suitcases containing pot into Port Columbus in 2010.

Lee filed a motion to have her prison time thrown out, saying she should have been judged as an Asian heiress.

In the motion she claimed comparing her with the average American was tantamount to ignorance, disparity and prejudice.

The judge disagreed and overruled.

Lee is serving a 72 month sentence in federal prison after pleading guilty.
