High pressure is moving off to the east of Ohio allowing for increasing temperatures and moisture. As a storm system approaches from the west, clouds will increase tonight. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will push into the state early Sunday morning with occasional rain expected through the day. Outside of any showers, skies will be partly to mostly sunny. Temperatures will also be cooler Sunday with highs in the 70s. The storm system will exit Sunday evening with clearing skies.
Ohio will be in between storm systems on Monday with mostly sunny skies and seasonable temperatures expected. The threat for showers and storms will return by late Tuesday as a slow-moving storm system arrives from the Central Plains. This system will keep the threat for showers in central Ohio through Thursday.
