One person is dead after a semi flipped over on I-71 in North Columbus.

It happened shortly before 6:30 a.m. Saturday, just north of the Gemini Place exit.

Police said Daniel Eisnaugle, 61, of Newark was driving the semi when he collided with a Mustang driven by Stephen Albenze, 29, of Elyria.

The semi then struck a guardrail and a concrete sound barrier, according to a police report.

Eisnaugle was pronounced dead at the scene.
