Humane Society Wants Answers About Pit Bull Found Struck In Head, Face


A 1-year-old pit bull was found with lacerations and fractures to its head.

The Capital Area Humane Society is asking for answers after the dog was found in the Tamarack Circle area.

The dog appears to have been struck multiple times in the head and face and had severe lacerations and multiple skull fractures.

The dog was taken to the Humane Society late Tuesday afternoon after being taken in as a stray by animal control officials.
