A Columbus burglary victim caught two men on camera who may have been trying to burglarize his home.

We are not sharing the victim's name because he fears for his safety.

The victim said his West Columbus home was broken into several times. Items were stolen.
"I was tired of getting broken into and not knowing who's ripping me off," said the victim.

He installed cameras to try to catch the criminals in the act.

The cameras were rolling when two men strolled up to the house and entered the screened-in porch when no one was home.
The victim said just out of the camera's view, one of the men tries to pry open the door. The video shows the other man apparently acting as a lookout.

At one point, the man notices the camera, and that's when the men take off.

"Once they saw it, they were out of here," the victim said.

The victim put the video on YouTube to help stop break-ins.

"Hopefully someone out there will know who they are and decide to turn them in," he said.
Columbus Police are investigating.
