The Hocking County Sheriff's Office is searching for a van after a shooting at the Wildwoods Backwood Retreats cabins.

Deputies report a woman was shot around 8:50 p.m. Saturday.

They report the woman was able to escape her cabin and run to another where someone called 911 for help.

When emergency personnel arrived she told them the shooter may have shot himself and may still be in the cabin.

Deputies could not find the shooter's vehicle at the cabin, but they did locate the body of a man. They have not yet released that person's identity.

The Sheriff's Office said the shooter may have left the scene in a white 2007 Chrysler Town and Country van with Ohio tag DRA8569.

Deputies said the woman was flown to a hospital in Columbus.
