'Hilltop Creeper' Pleads Guilty, Given 20 Year Sentence
A man dubbed the "Hilltop Creeper" pleaded guilty in court on Wednesday.
Deneen Black was facing burglary, kidnapping and gross sexual imposition charges. He pleaded to six counts of buglary and one count of sexual imposition.
Black was arrested in September 2012 after a number of break-ins in the Hilltop. The suspect would sneak into women's homes and stand over them while they sleep.
The break-ins were reported for several weeks. In at least a few of the cases, the suspect touched victims inappropriately.
Black was arrested at his southwest side home on September 25.
Black was sentenced to 20 years in jail for the crimes.
