Highway Patrol Investigating Accident Involving Farm Vehicles

The Chillicothe Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol was investigating a three vehicle accident in Ross County.

Troopers said the accident happened on US-50 near Bainbridge Friday evening around 6:00 p.m.

Officers said 41-year-old Bryan Mitchell was traveling westbound on US-50 in a 1997 Saturn when he swerved and hit 65-year-old John Weaver, who was driving a 2010 John Deer Combine in the eastbound lanes.

Mitchell then was hit by a 2005 John Deere Tractor being driver by 62-year-old James Armstrong.

Mitchell was transported to the Ohio University Wexner Medical Center by Air-Evac.

The other two men did not suffer any injuries.
