Columbus police say two armed men walked into a southeast Columbus store, and came out with boxes full of cell phones.

A passerby alerted the owner of Linda's Supermarket next door to where the robbery occurred, at the Wireless Tech store in the 2000 block of Courtright Road, to what was going on.

Witnesses told 10TV News that the owner stepped outside with his gun, when the suspects started shooting. The owner returned fire.

All of this happened in front of two small children sitting in a parked car in this lot.

The family allowed an 8-year-old witness to speak with 10TV.

"When they got out the store they had all kind of phones. The boxes was orange and black,” said the girl, who 10TV News did not identify. “Linda's Supermarket, he came out. He was on the sidewalk. He started shooting at them, they started shooting at him."
No one was injured in the shooting.

An employee of the cell phone store was hurt by shattering glass, but those injuries are minor.

Tonight police are still on the hunt for the two suspects, who took off running.
