Chances are you have ordered something from Amazon.com before, but have you ever wondered where it comes from?

Amazon held a special grand opening ceremony of its new 800,000 square feet fulfillment center in Etna Monday.

The facility officially opened in September 2016 and currently employs over 3,000 full-time associates. The Etna facility is one of two fulfillment centers in Ohio.

The other is in Obetz and together, they employee 6,000 people and are looking to hire more.

"You have technology, equipment and people all coming together to provide a better customer experience, more bottom line, more profits and more pay for the people who work here,” said Governor John Kasich as he toured the center.

Amazon is committed to long-term investment into the community. You can learn more about fulfillment center job openings here.
