For the second time in a week, a Dublin golf ball sculpture went missing. Only this time, it was returned.

The sculptures were part of a public art exhibit in town for the Presidents Cup Golf Tournament.

On Wednesday, a ball was taken from its tee near Avery-Muirfield and Post roads. But the ball was returned and dropped near the scene of the crime.

A ball that was stolen earlier this week is still missing.

That sculpture was taken from Dublin Road and Memorial Drive. It featured an image of the Memorial Tournament logo presented by Nationwide Insurance.

Memorial Tournament officials are offering a grace period through midnight on Oct. 12 to return the ball and avoid charges.

Any information about the theft can be reported here or by calling 614-889-1112.
