Athens County prosecutors say Glouster's Police chief will never work as an Ohio law enforcement officer again.

Luke Mace pleaded guilty today to six counts of Dereliction of Duty. Those charges are all misdemeanors.

A judge sentenced Mace to a 100-day suspended jail sentence, but he has to forfeit his Ohio Police Officer Training Certificate. That means he can not get another job as a police officer in Ohio.

Back in May, Mace was charged after an investigation found he was hiding a woman who was wanted by Athens County Sheriff's deputies.

The judge also sentenced him to 2 years probation.
