Glouster Police: 16-Year-Old Girl Attacked With Lead Pipe


A 16-year-old girl allegedly struck another girl with a lead pipe at a Family Dollar store.

According to Glouster police, officers responded to a Family Dollar store on Wednesday after a report of a teen struck with a lead pipe.

Police found a 16-year-old girl injured. She was taken by medical helicopter to a Columbus hospital.

Glouster police questioned another 16-year-old girl in connection with the assault and charged her with a delinquency charge of felonious assault.

The unidentified teen appeared in court on Thursday and was remanded to a juvenile detention center until Oct. 7.

The victim was released from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center on Thursday.

She is expected to recover fully.
