Giant Eagle has announced it will be closing three stores and one GetGo location in March.

The supermarkets located at 1000 East Dublin-Granville Road, 777 Neil Avenue and 1760 Hilliard-Rome Road will close March 4. The GetGo adjacent to the Hilliard-Rome Road location will also close.

“We thank our customers for their years of patronage at these locations, and invite them to visit us at our other area stores,” said Giant Eagle spokesperson Dan Donovan. “Central Ohio, and Columbus specifically, are important communities for Giant Eagle, and we remain committed to supporting customers throughout the region for years to come.”

The in-store pharmacies at the East Dublin-Granville Road and Hilliard-Rome Road supermarkets will close January 14 to make sure the prescriptions of customers are transitioned to another retailer.

Giant Eagle said they have informed employees at these locations of open positions at other locations.

The East Dublin-Granville Road Giant Eagle opened in 2001, and the Neil Avenue supermarket opened as a Giant Eagle in 2004. The Hilliard-Rome Road Giant Eagle and GetGo both opened in 2001.
