Another chilly night is in the forecast with skies expected to be mostly clear overnight. Patchy frost will once again be possible, mainly east of Columbus. Frost Advisories have been posted for parts of eastern Ohio late tonight. After a cool morning Monday, mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures are in the forecast for the afternoon. Highs will reach into the lower 70s.
Clouds will be on the increase late Monday, with a threat for a passing shower or thunderstorm late Monday night into Tuesday as a warm front crosses the area. Temperatures will climb to near 80 degrees Tuesday and on Wednesday. By late Wednesday, a cold front will bring an increased threat for showers and storms. A few storms could be strong on Wednesday. Temperatures will cool slightly behind the cold front back into the 70s for Thursday into the upcoming holiday weekend with dry weather.
