The combination of yesterday’s snow and clear skies last night has created a frigid start to the day. We’ll see a mix of clouds and sun with highs in the mid to upper 20s. Light snow showers will be possible this morning, mainly north of Columbus. Those chances will spread into areas closer to the 1-70 corridor this afternoon and evening. We’re not expecting much accumulations—a coating to an inch at best. Skies will clear out after midnight with overnight lows in the single digits and low teens. Wind chill values tonight and tomorrow morning could drop as low as 5 below zero.
Thursday will be a frigid day with highs likely staying in the teens in many cases. Temperatures will get a little milder on Friday with highs in the low 30s. Another shot at snow will head our way Friday night into Saturday before mixing with rain during the day.
