Free HIV Testing Offered In Central Ohio


The Columbus Public Health Department is offering free HIV and STD testing in recognition of National HIV Testing Day, which is June 27.

On Wednesday, June 26, free HIV and STD testing will be offered at the health department building at 240 Parsons Ave. from noon to 5 p.m.

On Thursday, June 27, the free walk-in testing will be held 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the AIDS Healthcare foundation at 815 West Broad St., Suite 350.

From 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., the free testing will be available at two locations: 4400 North High St., Suite 300 and at 1780 East Broad St.

Nearly 1.2 million people are living with HIV and almost one in five do not know they are infected, according to the health department.
