Former Ohio State Lineman Winrow Dies At Age 41
Former Ohio State Buckeye Jason Winrow died at his home Sunday night in Westerville. He was 41-years-old.
Winrow was a 1993 Ohio State graduate who played under Coach John Cooper. Winrow earned consensus All-Big Ten honors his senior year as well as being named a Second Team All-American.
He went on to be drafted by the New York Giants.
"We lost an amazing father, husband and friend last night. Jason Winrow passed very suddenly last night at 41 years of age. The cause is unknown at this time. The family appreciates all your thoughts and prayers. As soon as more information is known, another email will be sent with details around his memorial service," said a statement released from his family.
Winrow was a frequent guest on Wall-To-Wall Sports and ONN's Buckeye Blitz.
A memorial service is planned for Winrow this Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Fawcett Center.
