Fire Officials Investigating Blaze At Tattoo Parlor

A fire investigator says the cause of a fire at a downtown Johnstown tattoo parlor was an electrical issue in the ceiling.

The owner tells 10TV he and his cousin were inside the building at the time painting when they smelled smoke around 2:00 a.m. Friday morning.

They grabbed a fire extinguisher and tried to put it out, but couldn't.

Firefighters responded and quickly knocked down the flames.

No one was hurt.  The fire was still under investigation.
