Fire Leads To Meth Lab Discovery

Firefighters discovered a meth lab inside a west Columbus home after responding to a fire.

The flames sparked around 11:15 Thursday night on Dana Avenue, just off Sullivant Avenue.

A firefighter noticed a red bucket that authorities say was filled with meth-related items.

That's when firefighters called police to investigate.

10TV was there while a hazmat team neutralized the dangerous chemicals.

The narcotics department was handling the investigation.
