Fayette County Deputy Involved in Crash To Be Removed From Life Support

A Fayette County deputy who was involved in a serious crash last week worsened over the weekend.

According to the Washington Court House Record Herald, the development resulted in the "decision to remove all life support."

According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, Det. Phil Brown was traveling on U.S. 22 near Keyes Road in Pickaway County, where he lives, when he lost control of a 2012 Dodge Charger.

The sheriff said that Brown lost control because of a medical condition and struck a culvert and utility pole before overturning the vehicle.  A medical helicopter transported Brown to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical
Center in Columbus.
