Clouds will be on the increase tonight as a slow moving cold front moves into the Ohio Valley. A few thunderstorms could cross into northwestern Ohio after midnight tonight. The front will go stationary to our north through most of next week. This will allow for southerly winds to pump up more heat and humidity through the week with high temperatures around 90 degrees and heat index values around 100 degrees. Thunderstorms will develop along the stalled front to our north and occasionally drift into central Ohio. The greatest threat for storms will likely occur on Thursday and Friday as the front slowly shifts south. Temperatures will cool slightly toward the end of the week, however the threat for thunderstorms will continue into the coming weekend.
