Family Of Man Missing From Dublin Pleads For Public’s Help

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers announced more reward money for information that helps locate a missing man.

Siva Kumar Singh-Gadwal was visiting family in the Dublin area and was last seen on Dec. 11 in the area of Perimeter Lakes Drive.

At a news conference on Thursday, Crime Stoppers, along with Singh-Gadwal's family, said they were now offering a $2,000 reward for information that helps locate him.

Dublin police also announced that they have joined forces with the world’s largest police organization, INTERPOL, to search for the missing Indian citizen.

Family members have now put up posters around town asking for information.

“Right now, we are in such a shock that we are not able to lead our normal life, and that’s all we can request at this point – that anyone who comes forward with a clue leading us to find him, then we will definitely go ahead and give him a reward,” said Satyajit Chauhan, Singh-Gadwal’s son-in-law.

Chauhan said that his 2-month-old daughter is the reason Singh-Gadwal left India and came to America.

“They were so happy two months back, and all of a sudden with him missing, all of the happiness has gone away,” Chauhan said.

Singh-Gadwal’s daughter, Madhuri Singh-Gadwal, said that she had no idea where her father might be.

“We’re just praying that God shows us some evidence if he’s alive or not, but this confusion is very difficult,” Madhuri Singh-Gadwal said.

Dublin police said that they have done an extensive search by air and on foot. They have searched bodies of water within two miles of the apartment complex where the man was last seen.

“We have absolutely no reason to believe this gentleman is deceased,” said Heinz von Eckartsberg, Dublin’s police chief. “INTERPOL has information on this case and they are trying to determine, through Indian authorities, whether there is any evidence in India that would help us with this.”

Singh-Gadwal, 57, is around 5 foot 4 inches tall and weighs around 130 pounds.
If anyone has information, they are asked to contact Dublin Police at 614-889-1112 or Crime Stoppers 614-645-4749.
