The family of a man killed in an unsolved hit-skip crash held a fundraiser to benefit the school he loved.

24-year-old Jacob Zang was killed on New Year's Day at the intersection of North Cassady Avenue and Drake Road in Mifflin Township.

Zang was a 2007 graduate of Bishop Hartley High School and served as a Hartley Youth Wrestling Association coach.

Jacob's family held a fundraiser Saturday at Shape-4-Life, called *get fit for jake.*

Participants signed up for 50 minute workouts, with all the money going toward the new wrestling room for Bishop Hartley Jacob wanted.

"We figure if we're doing the right thing and we're having fun, we're commemorating Jake, raising something that's important to him, I mean we've reached the goal," John Zang, Jacob’s father said.

His family said they are planning more fundraisers for later in the year.
Jacob's case is still unsolved.
