Areas of dense fog will continue through 8 or 9am this morning with slowly improving conditions. Skies will remain mostly cloudy with occasional light showers or drizzle possible through noon. Some breaks in the clouds will develop this afternoon. After a mild start, temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 60s this afternoon.
Skies will be partly cloudy tonight although once again, some patchy fog will be possible late. Overnight lows will hold in the low to mid 50’s.
A stronger cold front will cross the state Tuesday bringing with it widespread showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will reach into the low 60’s early in the day but then fall through the 50’s and into the 40’s by early evening. Showers will exit by late Tuesday night with overnight lows falling back into the 30’s. Sunshine will return on Wednesday with cooler temperatures in the 40’s.
