Ex-Ohio State Men's Basketball Player Darby Dies At 30
Former Ohio State men's basketball player Brent Darby died on Tuesday in a Detroit hospital, the Columbus Dispatch reported.
Darby was 30 years old.
Darby's former Ohio State teammate Neshaun Coleman told the newspaper that Darby was hospitalized Monday night with blood clots in his legs, possibly the result of complications from heart surgery he had undergone earlier this year.
Darby, from River Rouge, Mich., played at Ohio State from 1999-2003, averaging 18.3 points in his senior season.
He scored 1,368 points in his Ohio State career.
