Dublin Video Store Operator Pleads Guilty To Income Tax Evasion
A Dublin woman has pleaded guilty to one count of committing income tax evasion with the IRS.
Lisa Harper, 49, owned and operated the Westpointe Video Games store in the Westpointe Plaza Shopping Center.
According to prosecutors, Harper underreported her businesses’ gross receipts from 2006 to 2009 by almost $1 million.
Harper then used the unreported income to purchase items including a Dublin house and a Cadillac Escalade.
Harper was released on bond until sentencing. She faces up to five years in prison and a possible $250,000 fine.
