Dublin Police Seek Information In Accident That Left Motorcyclist In Critical Condition

Dublin Police say they’re looking for information into a motorcycle accident on I-270 on Friday that left a man hospitalized in critical condition.

According to police, the accident occurred July 4, along the southbound lanes of I-270, north of Tuttle Crossing Blvd.  Around 3 a.m., the motorcyclist was involved in an accident with a car and was then struck by a truck as he lay on interstate.

The motorcyclist remains hospitalized at Ohio State University Hospital in critical condition.

The crash prompted a shutdown the highway between U.S. 33 and Rings Road on the northwest corner of the outerbelt.

Dublin Police are looking to speak with the truck driver regarding the accident, who was seen driving southbound on I-270 after the accident.  The truck is believed to have a red cab and white box about 20-feet in length.

Authorities are asking for information from anyone who may have witnessed the accident or has information about the truck.  Anyone with information is asked to call 614-889-1112.
