A man faced charged after police said he walked into a Westerville home and fell asleep in a 13-year-old’s bed.

Westerville police said that Mackenzie Alexander was drunk and did not know where he was or what happened.

In fact, Alexander, 20, was still asleep when the boy’s father called 911.

“I have a person in my house that doesn’t belong here,” the father told 911 dispatchers.

According to police, the teenage victim told his father that someone was sleeping next to him. He allegedly attempted to wake up Alexander, but could not.

When the dispatcher asked the father who the drunken person was, he answered “It’s probably a drunk college student. We don’t know who he is, he came into our house and fell asleep.”

When police arrived, Alexander was still asleep in an upstairs bedroom.

According to a police report, when Alexander was arrested he saw a street sign and asked officers, “What am I doing here? I’m nowhere close to home.”

Alexander was not available to comment on the allegations. A woman, who identified herself as his stepmother, said that she knew nothing about the allegations.

Police said that Alexander, who also damaged a rug, faced criminal trespassing and underage consumption charges.
