Relatives of a man last seen at a crash on the city's east side found his body in a creek near I-270 and E. Main Street on Saturday.

Columbus police said Seon Wright was northbound on I-270 on Tuesday and crashed around 9:15 a.m. after hitting at least one other vehicle.  Investigators said a red Nissan that belonged to Wright sustained extensive damage

Witnesses reported Wright, 22, of Pickerington, running from the wrecked vehicle toward a wooded area nearby. He was not found during a ground and aerial search conducted by police.

Investigators suspected he might have been hiding.

Relatives returned to the area Saturday morning to look for signs of Wright. Officers were called to an area of heavy brush down a steep hill where a family member found the man's body in a stream.

His fiancee, Ameera Montague, told 10TV News that Wright was acting disoriented a couple of days prior to the crash. The Franklin County Coroner was planning an autopsy to determine how Wright died.
