Detroit Man Arrested In Marion Drug Raid

Marion authorities arrested a man from Detroit after a drug warrant was served Wednesday afternoon.

Police entered a home in the 240 block of Chestnut Street around 3 p.m.

Jody R. Russell, 38, is accused of having 266 Percocet pills and 4 grams of marijuana inside of the house. He also had more than $2,000 in cash.

Russell has been charged with aggravated drug trafficking and aggravated possession.

More charges may be filed pending the investigation.

Members of MARMET/METRICH Drug Task Force along with Marion Police and the Marion County Sheriff's Office participated in the arrest.
