Deputies Arrest Man Found With Drugs, Infant

Sheriff's deputies charged a man with drug trafficking on Monday after he allegedly delivered marijuana to an Athens County apartment.

According to the Athens County Sheriff's Office, detectives and members of the Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested 20-year-old Joshua M. Gibson on one count of drug trafficking.

Authorities said he had an infant with him during the alleged transaction. He also was accompanied by a 17-year-old friend.

Children services took custody of the child and released the infant to its mother. The 17-year-old was released to his father.

Gibson was being held at the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail.
