Your Doppler 10 Forecast
This Morning: Mostly cloudy with areas of dense fog.
This Afternoon: Mostly cloudy, breezy and warm with a chance for showers late in the day. High 64
Tonight: Breezy and warm with showers likely. Low 58
Sunday: Breezy and mild to start with rain likely. An early afternoon high of 60 degrees falling into the low 40s by early evening.
Be careful as you hit the roads this morning—areas of dense fog are leading to reduced visibilities across central Ohio. All of the moisture from the snow melt this past week is contributing to that fog formation and could lead to other problems this weekend. We are expecting significant rainfall this evening through Sunday evening, leading to the possibility of flooding in some areas.
After a mild start to the day, the warmth will continue this afternoon with highs in the low 60s. Those temperatures are about 25 to 30 degrees above average for this time of year. We’ll see mostly cloudy skies with a chance for showers late in the day. Rain will be likely tonight into Sunday. Sunday’s highs will top out around 60 degrees early afternoon before a cold front brings falling temperatures into the low 40s and upper 30s by early Sunday evening. It’s possible we could see the rain change to some snow before ending Sunday night, but we are not expecting any significant accumulation.
Alerts: Dense Fog Advisories and Flood Watches for parts of central Ohio and a Flood Warning for the Scioto River in Marion County
Inconvenient Weather: Dense fog this morning with increasing chances for rain by this evening
Planning Your Day: After a foggy start to the day, we’ll see mostly cloudy skies with highs in the low 60s. Rain will be likely this evening through Sunday evening.
