After a foggy start to this Mother’s Day, skies will become partly sunny for the afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible late this morning and again late in the day. It won’t be a complete washout, but keep an umbrella with you for any outdoor plans. Highs will be pushing 80 in many spots.
We’ll get even warmer to start the work week. Highs on Monday and Tuesday will likely climb into the low to mid 80s. Monday will bring another chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. A cold front will head our way late Tuesday into Wednesday and will bring better chances for showers and storms with it. Look for cooler air by mid-week with highs falling into the 60s.
