Delaware County Man Falls To Death After Climbing Cell Phone Tower, Fleeing Authorities

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office said that a man died on Wednesday after climbing a cell phone tower and falling to his death.

According to the sheriff’s office, Donald S. Flauto climbed the tower, located along state Route 292 in Jefferson Township, after fleeing authorities on Tuesday after a single vehicle crash along U.S. 33 near S.R. 292.

Law enforcement authorities said that they had been looking for Flauto, 38, after the Delaware City Police Department reported that he had been involved in a domestic dispute on Tuesday night.
