A former high school teacher has been sentenced to 45 days for kissing a student.

Danielle Lusk admitted to kissing the female student and pleaded no contest to charges of contributing to the unruliness of a child, according to the Perry County Clerk.

Lusk was a history teacher at Crooksville High School when she admitted to kissing the student on multiple occasions.

Lusk will serve 45 days of a 180 day sentence. The rest of the sentence was suspended, on the condition Lusk is not in trouble with the law over the next two years.

The investigation into Lusk began after Perry County deputies responded to a fight in a store parking lot. Surveillance video showed a confrontation between Lusk and the student’s mother.
