Crime Of The Week: Reward Offered For Information On Lithopolis Burglars
This week’s “Crime of the Week” concerns a Burglary that took place in Lithopolis.
On May 13, 2014, between the hours of 7:30 am and 11:30 am, an unknown person(s) entered a residence in the Wilson Farms subdivision in Lithopolis and stole a purse while the homeowner was sleeping. The purse contained the victim's driver's license, as well as checks and credit cards. The credit cards were used at various businesses around the Columbus and Grove City area, including Kohl's department store on Stringtown Road.
Other stores involved include a Target and a GetGo in Grove City. The suspects also used one of the victims stolen checks and made it payable for cash at the Chase Bank on South Hamilton Road.
Surveillance footage of the incident shows a black male and a white female shopping for clothing and other items which were then paid for using the victim's credit card. Photos of the suspects may be viewed above.
