Crime Of The Week: Easton Credit Card Theft
This week’s “Crime of the Week” concerns a theft which took place on the northeast side of Columbus.
On Thursday, March 27, 2014, a woman's wallet was stolen from her purse while dining at a restaurant at Easton Town Center. The victim was unaware of the theft until she was contacted by her bank, due to unusual activity via her credit card. Six back-to-back transactions were made at the Morse Crossing Target store, totaling more than $20,000.
