Crime Stopper Offers $2,000 For Information About Linden-Area Double Homicide
Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $2,000 reward for information on a 2012 Linden-area double homicide.
Antonio Bolden was visiting his cousin Daniel Floyd on March 13, 2012 at about 11:10 p.m. when an unknown person appeared at the front door of the 2970 Cleveland Ave. apartment and shot the two men when they opened the door. The men died at the scene.
Friends and family members of 26-year-old Bolden and 30-year-old Floyd gathered this March to remember the two just slightly one year after their shooting deaths.
“There are a lot of people who miss Danny,” said his mother, Victoria Floyd.
Floyd lost her son and nephew on that violent March night.
“I have not even allowed myself to grieve, because I have work to do,” Floyd said.
The mother said she was pleading for those who have information about their deaths to come forward.
She said she believes someone knew that her son was starting a home repair business and had cash in his apartment to buy equipment.
“There’s a lot of people out there that know a lot, and they just refuse to come forward with it,” Floyd said. “To me, ‘died’ means medically, accidental, you know, or something else. This was murder.”
Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering the reward for any information on the incident that leads to arrest or indictment of the persons responsible by April 10.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 614-645-TIPS (8477) or visit the Crime Stoppers website.
Tips also can be texted to “CRIMES,” keyword CMH.
