This Afternoon: Showers ending. Mostly cloudy, breezy and cool. Highs around 50

We’ll get the weekend started with rainy, windy and cool conditions. The rain will come to an end from west to east as we head into the afternoon. Highs will only top out in the upper 40s and low 50s. Sunday will once again feature breezy and cool weather with highs around 50 and the chance for afternoon showers.
All eyes will be focused on Hurricane Sandy. The remnants from Sandy will likely cause major problems for the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast U.S. with flooding and damaging winds. Here in Ohio, we’ll see some wind from Sandy starting as early as Sunday night. Winds could gust at times around 50 mph Sunday night through Tuesday night. We’ll also see some rain from Sandy starting Monday and possibly some snow mixing in with the rain. It’s too early to give specific snowfall projections but it’s possible we could see an accumulating snow in central Ohio and several inches in extreme eastern Ohio. We’ll keep a close eye on this storm!
Inconvenient Weather: Rain possible through early afternoon and another chance tomorrow afternoon.
Planning Your Day: Look for rain with breezy and cool conditions this morning. Rain will come to an end this afternoon. We’ll be breezy and cool all day long.
