Convicted Sex Offender Accused Of Contacting Ohio State Recruits Jailed

Prosecutors said Wednesday that the sex offender accused of contacting Ohio State football recruits was back in jail.

Charles Eric Waugh was arrested on a parole violation and was jailed in Kentucky, 10TV News reported.

According to prosecutors, Waugh violated his parole on a child pornography conviction by failing to disclose his Facebook, Twitter and e-mail aliases to his parole officers.

Alex Anzalone, a linebacker from Wyomissing, Pa., decommitted from Ohio State after a photo of him with Waugh appeared on the Internet.

Waugh, who has been accused of using social networking to contact other Ohio State recruits, said that his networking was harmless.

"I've been a Buckeye fan since I was a teenager," Waugh said from a jail cell.

Waugh pleaded guilty to having child pornography on his computer in 2008. His latest parole violation could result in a prison sentence.
