Confrontation Leaves 2 Teens With Gunshot Wounds

Police say two teens were hospitalized after an early Easter Sunday shooting.

According to police, an altercation occurred at about 1:25 a.m. in front of 90 N. Eureka Avenue.

During the confrontation, two teenagers, ages 15 and 17, were shot in front of the home and were taken to Mount Carmel West Hospital.

One teen was shot in the face with buckshot and the other was shot in the check.

A search warrant was executed on the home, but the investigation was ongoing, according to police.
