A server at Miller’s Ale House in Columbus is accused of altering the amount patrons left her as a tip nearly 200 times.

Court documents filed in Franklin County Municipal Court show it was a $4.76 addition to a tip that may have got her caught.

A patron said the additional charge was added to a credit card after a March 28 meal at Miller’s Ale House on Olentangy River Road.

The customer notified management who began to investigate.

Now, Kristin Nichole Blair is being accused of altering 196 credit card totals to amounts higher than what the customer signed.

Blair is charged with telecommunications fraud.

She appeared in court Friday where a judge set bond at $10,000.
