Columbus Police Investigate After Man Is Shot In The Head By Stray Bullet

A man is fighting for his life after police say he was shot in the head by a stray bullet in East Columbus.

Police were dispatched to 3208 Sterling Lane just before 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Officers found 32-year-old Yusuf Mohammed bleeding from the head.

He was taken to Grant Medical Center where he's listed in life threatening condition.

Police said the bullet came through an exterior wall and struck Mohammed in the head while he was watching television.

It's unknown if he was the intended target of a shooting or the victim of a random act of violence.
