Columbus Police Arrest Suspect In Nightclub Murder
Columbus Police have arrested a man suspected of shooting and killing an east Columbus bar employee.
On Saturday morning, police charged 22-year-old Mario Marquis Harris with murder of 36-year-old Henry Monger, III.
Monger was an employee at the East Side Lounge, formerly known as the Comfort Zone in the 6100 block of East Livingston Avenue.
Officers say Monger had just left the nightclub around 3:15 a.m. on November 7, when he was shot in the parking lot.
Police say Monger ran inside for help.
Witnesses say they were not aware of any confrontation before the shooting.
Monger was shot in the upper body and died from his injuries at Grant Medical Center.
