Special Information: The fair and hot weather continues thanks to high pressure into the mid-levels of the atmosphere. This high is not moving as Maria moves her way up the coast. Expect mostly clear skies overnight with patchy fog late and lows in the mid-60s in Columbus. Sunshine returns with highs on either side of 90 in the city Tuesday. Wednesday will start out sunny but clouds will build and we’ll see showers and possibly a few storms in the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the mid-80s. The clouds and rain are coming with a cold front that will really knock down the temperatures. Thursday and Friday will top out in the upper 60s and low to mid-70s across the area.
