A Columbus man blames the local casino for getting robbed of more than $35,000 in winnings.

David Hayes, 29, filed a lawsuit against the Columbus Hollywood Casino, claiming the casino should have issued him a check instead of cash.

Police say two men broke into his house hours after he left the casino and robbed him at gunpoint.

The casino had given him his payout in $100 bills, stuffed in a manila folder.

The casino says Hayes lost the money because of his own negligence.
