Columbus’ First Sextuplets Celebrate Turning 3
The first sextuplets in the city’s history are turning 3 years old.
Olivia, Madison, Rozonno Jr., Josiah, Elijah, and Isaac McGhee have made it through a chaotic year.
Not only are they ready for their 3s, they are singing about it.
Their parents, Mia and Rozonno, say age 3 is no match for the terrible 2s.
"They're talking, tell you what they want. Their favorite word is no. It's always a fight going on the boys, they love to fight. The girls have these kitten fights,” said Mia.
At Whetstone Park on Wednesday, the fighting was kept to a minimum.
It was a long way from when 10TV first met the sextuplets as they left the Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center.
Mia and Rozonno still have some help, with grandmothers willing to pitch in.
They say the kids have celebrated many milestones, with many yet to come.
For example, not all of the children have mastered potty training.
"Isaac, Madison and Rozonno Jr. - the other three we're still working on. They don't care,” added Mia.
The family is in its second season of a documentary series on their lives called "Six Little McGhees.”
Mia and Rozonno say it's the family they've always wanted.
Multiples were a surprise, but they have been a gift - six times over.
"God gave them to me. I'm excited about the future,” she said.
