A substitute at Como Elementary on the north side of Columbus is being accused of misconduct, and parents said they were never informed.

"I'm a little concerned that something like that happened, and I would not be aware of it, and I have kids in, not only the school but the classroom that it happened in,” said a parent who did not want to be identified.

The parent heard about the problem with the substitute from his oldest daughter, but he said the school has never informed parents.

Columbus City Schools confirmed to WBNS-10TV that around November 1 it received a complaint about "inappropriate conduct" by a substitute teacher.

The district said the teacher was taken out of the classroom and removed from its calling list. But the school district said it has not finished its investigation.

"I don't want anyone to go on a witch hunt either but at the same time I shouldn't have to hear about this from my eleven-year-old daughter,” said the parent.
