Columbus Crews Continue To Clear Snowy Side Streets

It's no surprise the streets are a bit slushy after all the snow that has fallen.

What is a shock to long-time Columbus resident, Jack Shultz, is the condition of his road following the storms.

“We lived here 30 years, on this street, and only seen a plow once. A little salting would have helped us out a lot,” said Shutlz.

Shultz added that while the main roads have been salted and plowed, his in the Hilltop, are causing problems for people passing through as well as those who live nearby.

He also said that his wife is having a hard time walking around, especially at night, when the slush turns to ice.

All he wants is a little salt to help the snow wash away.

“I don't know what the problem is. I guess they don't treat these side streets enough,” said Shutlz.
